We have renewed our Silver FORS Accreditation

We have renewed our silver accreditation under the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) at all 11 branches.

FORS is a voluntary scheme for fleet operators who strive for best practice in safety, efficiency and environmental protection; the scheme is open to any business operating a vehicle on a public highway, such as heavy goods vehicles, vans, passenger-carrying vehicles, and cars.

Paul Butler, our Health and Safety and Transport Manager, said: “As a company, we hold safety and compliance in the highest regard and we are committed to ensure our services reflect this. We will continually pride ourselves on delivering our goods in a safe, efficient and environmentally friendly manner.

“We commit a lot of time, effort and training in every aspect of the business to ensure the FORS Silver and Bronze accreditations are achieved, and we are pleased the hard work of our teams have been recognised. I would particularly like to thank Rob Ladley and Graham Johnston for all of the hard work they put into ensuring our fleet of vehicles and drivers operate safely and within the scope of current legislation.

“Also, the continued effort of the drivers keeping up to date with e-learning and Safe Urban Driving training to protect cyclists and other vulnerable road users.”

In order to maintain the silver accreditation, we have maintained a high level of compliance in legal requirements, safety, fuel efficiency, and environmental improvement across our fleet of 51 vehicles.
