Finalists in two categories at the Builders Merchants Awards 2023

We made the finalist list for two categories at this years Builders Merchants Awards.

After winning Independent Builders Merchant of the Year at this years BMJ Awards, we were delighted when we found out we had been announced as finalists at the Builders Merchants Awards. Finalists in not one, but two categories; Civils Merchant of the Year and Health and Safety Initiative of the Year. The later celebrating the huge task of fitting defibrillators across all 11 of our branches and implementing some in depth training with not just our health and safety team and first aiders, but with those within our branches.

Friday 24th saw Rob Richardson, Nick Richardson and Paul Butler head down to London for the prestigious awards. Unfortunately we took home no trophies, but we are honoured to have been regonised for our achievements as a company over the past year and it is a testament to the hard work our staff put in daily to making James Burrell the oustanding Builders Merchants it is.

A fantastic awards ceremony nonetheless and we'd like to say a huge thank you to Fernco, K-Rend and Ultratape for a fabulous afternoon.

We're very much looking forward to getting stuck in to 2024 and shining a light on our achievements once again.
